Blower motor takes a long time to start?

So the forced air heater in my garage, when I kick it on, it literally takes 60 seconds to spin at full tilt.

It sounds like a jet engine starting to wind up, but even slower lol. Never has an issue starting or running, just takes an absurd amount of time

Any ideas?

Pull it out and oil the bearings if there is a way to do it. A lot of them are sealed.

Does it have a starting capacitor? If so, do a search on the internet on how to test it.

Try a new cap.

if you spin the fan by hand, does it move freely or is it "stiff"?
