I know everyone said not to get it but I did.The set is alot better then my old one.I got it for $300 today cash so I am not upset about it and I catually like them. The set comes with some useful stuff that i'll definately use.
The case isn't pretty but it does a good job hauling around the tools.
Now for the actual review
Wrenches- are in the rough finish which I like so they won't be really slippery like a polished set.Tolerances are great,I compared it to my old set and it is night and day. They aren't heavy but they aren't light, they feel comfortable in the hand. They come in 10-19mm and 1/4-3/4.They get longer as the size goes up.
Sockets-Polished finish, they are a lil heavy but lighter then my old set.Tolerances are the same as the wrenches. They fit the ratchets tight and they pop free easily when you push the release button.
Ratchets-light polished finish, little heavy but not uncomfortable.Quiet operation compared to my old set, nice and smooth. They are not f80's so they have a lil swing but less then the craftsman I have.Handle's are comfortable, with the little finger grooves which look like a womans toy fit the hand perfectly.Still gonna go get an f80 which wasn't on the truck today.
Sockets don't pop off unless you push the release.None of the craftsman switching into neutral on the ratchet while working(a big plus)
Extensions-Nice polished finish, has the knurled middle piece so you can get a grip on them. They are not heavy but feel solid as do the other tools in the set.Has one in 3/8 with a flex head which engages right and doesn't pop loose.
All in all I think I made a good purchase here,I would clearly state if there was something I didn't like about it.All the tools feel solid and fit the hand better then my previous set and the ole mans craftsman stuff.
I just couldn't justify the price of buying everything snap on,it costs to much for me.
In buying this set I will pay it off quickly since summer is here and my friends can't drive and I will install and paint alot of bumpers and fenders. The set will pay for itself so to say.I cannot afford to take our vehicles anywhere if something happens so I needed reliable tools and now I have them.My old tools have paid for themselves but it was time for them to retire and I feel they did me good until they wore out which was 5 years.
I know you guys say support the usa,buy usa made products. If you think about it I did support the usa I put the money into a sanppy guys pocket in which he will spend.
So I guess it is safe to say let the flaming begin but I really needed this set so I am prepared for whatever you have to say about Blue Point
