Here's my BB collection. I don't have the #22 tool. Though, I know what it looks like.

See the bent metal clip on the inside of the handle on the second plier from the top on the left? That clip is a post cleaner. The #22 tool is basically this clip attached to a metal rod bent into a L-shape.

The tools I know I'm missing are the battery carrier, the #22 tool, and the BB version of the modern two-in-one battery post cleaner that looks like wire brushes (their #55, IIRC)

This thread inspired me to pick up a pair of No. 11 pliers. There's almost no blue paint left. I was thinking of repainting the handles blue (but a lighter shade to match my 'stang). Will I go to tool purgatory forever for doing this?

Most of my tools had little blue left, so I painted them. And I still haven't been hit by lightning.

I have two of the #11 pliers. I put the second one in with my work tools. It's really nice for getting stubborn nuts and fittings off.

Here's a photo out of a catalog for the OP.

^ Well, I just went ahead and did it. Still standing! ;)

Though I really need to stop doing my rattle-can painting in my basement. Even with all the windows open, the ventilation down there *****.

Even though these aren’t battery tools, I couldn’t find anywhere more appropriate to post these tin snips I found recently. I didn’t have any idea that they were Blue Bird until they came out of the evaporust.
