Just saw this on their website. Just might pick one up now! Looks like it has a few revisions over the red one.

They didn't have them at my local store today or I might have picked one up. I hope they make these changes on the red one and maybe offer in black as well which I think I saw in another thread.

This coupon is in the HF monthly flyer and is good until 1-31-18, but it is $10 more:

What are the 'revisions"?

From the reviews:

The few flaws with the 5 drawer red cart finally got worked out with the new versions. The lid stays open at 90°, the finish is perfect, the casters are all full swivel with zerk fittings, the drawers are full extension ... the list goes on and on. No one should buy Snap-off or Mack or Cornwheel, or Mattco, these carts beat them all, by miles. It doesn't show on the website but they have them in black, blue, green and red in this style. If they make the 72' toolbox in black it's my next purchase.

Of course written by a HF employee.

I picked one up for $159 the other day and it does not have 4 swivel casters, only 2, like pictured on the box.

Lets see a pic of the cart when you get it together. Is it a dark blue or medium blue color?
I'm not done with the assembly, but here's a picture.
The blue is a bit darker than in the picture.
More comments after the picture.

The quality is not as good as on the red cart I have.

There was a pretty good bend on the back right corner of the lid...no apparent box / shipping damage. I think it was packed like that at the factory.
I got it straightened out well enough that it doesn't piss me off anymore.

The spray can tray had a couple of goofs in the paint as well as some bending along the long non-reinforced edge.

Mine came with 2 swivel and 2 stationary casters, but I took the extra swivel casters that I had on the red cart and put them on the blue one.

Love the look!

This would be a big upgrade from the rubbermaid cart I'm currently using for the drive way.

I like the look but I like to seen the fastener colored in black then I think it would really dress up the look. I also see the name plate has been changed and it actually looks quite nice.

Looks awesome! Pretty much the same color as my Homak 41" I got from Northern tool.

I have red as my default color of tools in my garage, though I really like lime green. This blue cart certainly has a 'pop' to it that I like. Perhaps it's just that it is different than red and black as we are used to.
.
I don't want to have to repaint all of my equipment to match!

I'm diggin the color. It doesn't look like they have a matching side table though. I'm having a hard time deciding between the black 4 drawer and this one. Might have to get both.

I agree on wanting a matching blue side tray.
The red tray is going to look funny on a blue cart....

When I bought my blue cart this past weekend, I asked if they were planning on making a blue side tray. The manager said "soon". No idea if he knew what he was talking about though :lol_hitti

I'm sure they'll be bringing out a blue side tray soon. Its only paint and they already have the red and black ones.

Hopefully by next month when I buy mine.

I told my wife I want her to get the new 'blue' 5-drawer box for my birthday next month. She was wondering why I wanted a blue one and not a red one (to replace the red one I sold last year when I retired) to match most my other tool boxes or even a black one to go with my Harley stuff.

I told her I wanted 'THIS BLUE ONE' just for all my detailing supplies and specialty tools/polishers.

I don't think she caught on yet to the other colors yet to come. ;)

My local store only has the black ones in stock. Picked one up for the girlfriend for her work. Hoping they come out with that blue in the bigger boxes. In the market for a 44" and that blue is sharp.

Been all set to buy a red cart for work, but now hoping they have a blue one in stock maybe this weekend. Is there really a green one? I’d definitely wait to find one of them

If I can find a coupon for $159 on that blue one I am getting I am definitely heading to Harbor Freight right away. At that price it is VERY hard to pass up.

Went to HF tonight and inquired about the blue and black cart, they said they have limited stock and the guy said the ones they got were identical to the red ones down to the strut mounts... I'm curious whether he was mistaken, I can't see why they would make two versions of the new cart but then again it is HF.

I got a red one earlier this year and since it matches my HF 44" setup I am happy with it. Talking to the manager of my local Harbor Freight he said the new blue and the black tool carts are flying out and the reds they have 20 available and they had a shipment of 10 of each the black and the blue carts last week and another ten of the black and blue carts this week and have 2 blue left and 4 black carts.

All the technicians are coming in from the local dealerships buying the new colors according to the manager. Seems that Harbor Freight has another winner on the new color. The manager wants to set one up for display but with the limited quantity he has he cannot set one up as they are flying out the door to fast.
