Nice looking drill. Just be aware:

Brace yourself with that handle and HOLD ON FOR DEAR LIFE. Don't use it at arm's length, nor put your face within the swing. Be aware that the handle can pinch your hand between it and some hard member such that you can't let go of the switch. That thing will break BOTH of your wrists as fast as you can blink.

Beyond that... :bounce:

A Milwaukee Hole Hawg is responsible for my broken nose. It sounded like the crack of a bat at a ball game, but inside my head. Up 10' on a ladder, I had my hand pinched between the handle switch and a roof joist with a 4.5" hole saw jammed in the hole. I had to kick the plug out of the cord to release myself.

Your mileage will hopefully vary. :)

It would be a good idea to have someone hold the cord and extension cord in both hands ready to pull them apart when you do serious drilling. That one will take you for a wild ride if a bit hangs up.

I've got an old Skil drill along the lines of that one. Follow A Pmech's advice. Years ago I was drilling through the bottom plates of a stud wall to install EMT with an auger bit when it caught a nail in the sub floor. Thing nearly spun me in circles when it caught! They certainly don't lack for torque.

At $15, it it works, you got a great drill for little coin! Have fun with it. Just be careful.
