maybe class of fit i believe it is called - nut is loose and will spin is class 3 i think and were it takes effort to turn it, like a nylon lock nut is a class 1 fit.
it was been a long time since i was around them and i may be remembering wrong

yes Hansen made the ace taps & Dies.

Funny story but several weeks back a women tried for several weeks to sell a box of taps & dies, but without any pictures or any description nobody bothered to call her.

Now I thought like everyone else that she had a set from HF, but she eventually posted a cell phone photo of that beat up set and just looking at the tap holder I could tell it was made for the Ace company so I beat a path to her door and bought that beat up old metal box full of Ace goodness!
