Has anyone compared one to the PDR5A it replaced? I'm curious if it's exactly the same or a little different (other then being BP & the coo).

The. Pdr5a was actually replaced by the pdr5000 and the bluepoint drill in question is the same one that matco and cornwell offer they are both very good drills where the snap on will feel better in tour hands imo
