Blue Point Body Hammer with a 24" SO handle

These were two different pieces, it is the only head I could find to fit the handle as the head on the handle was small. Head Blue Point, probably a HB258. Handle a 24" Snap on, probably from the 40s. I have not seen a 24 inch handle before, not sure if it is a body hammer handle, but is shaped like one. Cannot find it in the cats.

Pretty neat. Never seen one that long either.

I have seen my share of hammers and this is the first time I can ever remember seeing one that long on a body hammer, very interesting find you have there.

Talk about leverage. With a full swing you could make a dent that a body hammer couldn't fix.
