Blue Point Impact Driver

I have been wanting a decent impact driver for a while, but not wanting to spend $25 for a used one, and that seems to be what the USA ones go for. I saw this older looking Blue Point at one of my regular flea vendors last week, and talked the fellow down from $10 to $9. I'm pretty happy, but just wondering why there is no USA stamp?

Also, can anyone approximate its age?

i would search impak driver not impact driver and see who made it back in the day. looks like the real old blue point logo

The patent on that was filed in 1946 and granted in 1951.
