I'm on the hunt for a toolbox with a worktop for my home garage and came across this FBMP post for a Blue Point KRB2011. See photos below. Listing price is $995, which seems high to me. From the photos, it seems to be in decent, but not perfect, shape. Any thoughts on price? Are these solid boxes for home use?

Seems expensive and I do not like the drawer layout. And the fact that the top drawer is not a “deep drawer” for sockets.

I would not pay more than $300 US for that, personally. It has some dings and dents also.

You can do a hell of a lot better for the money. I really like the Craftsman at Lowe’s for $600 and change (seen as low as $4-something around the holidays).

Hell, a HF rollaway and piece of 3/4” plywood will get you the results above at a much better price.

I won't knock the box. It has some use and damage but its a TOOL BOX not living room furniture. Assuridly will outlast a HF box but as demonstrated above this will be the seller's competition.
Seller might be open to (I think much lower) offers. See in person and offer in person. You won't need to shove your way to the front of the line at $1k.
