Here is an example of two re-branded ratchet spanners/wrenches (I'm from Australia) that seem to have rolled off the same line, I am 98% sure of it with the only difference being that my set does not include the 8 and 9mm.

I know this is how many brands operate and am curious if anyone has similar side by side photos with higher end tool companies particularly blue point/snap on rebranding.

The JBS set from Blackwoods cost me $164 AUD which is $114 USD at the time of writing, not sure what my mate paid for his bluepoint set a few years back but on the SO Aus site they are listed $442 AUD / $309 USD.

Blue Point is literally the Snap-on rebranded brand. Nothing marked Blue Point is made by Snap-on.

As mentioned, Blue Point is a name (not the only name) that Snap on uses for tools they do not manufacturer themselves. At one time, Blue Point was generally tools made by other USA tool manufacturers. Today, it's mostly tools made over sears, but not always. It's simply because there are very few tool manufacturers left in the USA...

Snap-on's Blue Point line is typically made in Taiwan. The pricing for Blue Point varies wildly--sometimes it's near Snap-on prices, other times it's quite reasonable. Check Snap-on's website and eBay.

Overall Blue Point is solid DIY quality. I own a BP socket set, blow hammer, and some vice-grips. I'd advise against the currently available BP ratchets, which are all coarse tooth.

I bought that metric set off the truck a couple years ago where the metric was on sale for a cheaper then normal price and was also a BOGO deal where the standard set was free with purchase. Blue point also carries the same lifetime warranty as the regular snap on so if one ever breaks it's easy to warranty. I typically buy mostly snap on but in this case it was to good a deal to pass up. They are actually really nice wrenches in function and finish.

Williams 1219MRCS is also the same wrench the OP posted, and the Williams MWS-12RCS is the 8-19mm set and currently runs around $110 USD through ToolsDelivered, com
