Blue point reversible flex head wrenches!!!

I thought I would share this since I think there was a couple of guys on here that asked about reversible flex head wrenches awhile back.

It's about time SOMEBODY made these! Although I would have thought that another company like LTI Tools or VIM would have beaten Snap On to the punch....

1. you never have to worry about backing the wrench out to where you're against something and can't remove the wrench to turn it around when loosening a fastener.

2. It gives yet another type of wrench to buy.

I don't think they will. It has been more than a few years since they came out with the Snap on branded (not Blue point) flank drive plus combination ratcheting wrenches, and the selection of available sizes hasn't been expanded from the initial offering of 8-19mm or 3/8 to 3/4.
I thinks it's just easier for Snap on to use the asian made blue point versions. Actually, I think most manufacturers feel that way when it comes fine tooth ratcheting wrenches.

That's actually a locking mechanism for the flex head not a reversing lever.

Hm, the regular length bp's have been out for a while, I've had them for about 3 years. I like them over the Macs, but still there really isn't that big of a difference between them, just features. For one, one side of the ratchet is 12 point and the other is 6 point. Pretty nice and actually functional, reversing can be nice when you work yourself in a jam when the only way you can get the wrench out is to reverse it or cut some bolts.

If they could make the flex head reversible AND lockable, that would be something. If they had a set of double box ends, I would get those. It seems like having every imaginable set of ratcheting wrenches leaves you with many unused open ends.

I guess they are, the only difference in the set number is the A at the end but these appear to have a 12 point ratcheting end, mine have the wierd 6/12 point dual end. Other then that, same wrench, here's a standard set I found on ebay kinda showing the 12/6 point end

I have the same set as you with the funky drive on the ratcheting end, I like them but it goes with out saying that they are made in Taiwan.

They were listed in the "900" catalog. I dont know why they now say "New".....
