This morning I went by the local snappy guys warehouse to pick a couple things he didn't have on the truck the other day.

He usually has a few used tool boxes located there--trade ins and stuff

There's a blue point roll cab there he just took in trade. It looks like a classic 78 and has the same size and drawer count with the exception being the smaller drawers are on the right side.

The snappy guy said it's a box they don't make any more but it shared many parts with the classic 78 like drawer slides for instance.

It looks to be a well built box and he offered it to me for a good price so it's got me pondering.......

Any of you all familiar with this box and have any info to share?

Blue point boxes are kra series boxes, just with the blue point name. I has a blue point box for several months and loved it.

Yep...Looks just like that down to the color. The one I looked at didn't have the add on caddy. It measures out roughly 54 inches in width and 34 inches in depth

It did have the optional top/work surface(at least thats what the dealer called it) that was bolted to it though. It had some sort of spray on bed liner covering on it.

Do you know the history of this series of boxes?

The local dealer said it was just like a conventional snappy box but at a cheaper price point. Even said it was made by snappy even though it carried the blue point label

It's literally a kra cab with blue trim and a different emblem. That's it. I believe they were made in the early 00's.
