Blue point supreme wrenchs

I am not a big snap on/ blue point collector, but blue point supreme wrenchs are probably my favorite looking wrench. I have collected a whole set plus. I notice that alot of sizes are repeated up threw the set since they are double open end. Was this normal?

It was normal to have size duplicates in various wrenches. Industry Standard Numbers are full of duplicated sizes. Blue Point Supreme wrenches were made for many years and in many styles. Here are a few of mine.

They have doubles so you can use on a nut and another on the bolt head at the same time. Also, it can be better to tighten with the smaller one and loosen with the longer one.

I have a set of Snap On 'Vee' wrenches and they also include quite a few duplicate sizes, but not all of the sizes. Whenever I have to do hydraulic hose connections on farm machinery they always have the correct duplicate open ends that I need.
Unless it's a Metric machine...!
