One of the guys at work, the shop forman had this in his toolbox. Somehow he ended up showing it to me and I've actually used it a few times for different fasteners. I work in a repair shop, mostly cars, but just about anything that we think we can repair. I noticed it said Blue point on the knob on end that your turn to move the drive end. Anyone have one or seen one?
I just thought it was neat. He got it from the shops owner's father in law quite a few years back, the father in law is deceased now, so no finding anything out there. I would google it, but I'm not even really sure what to call it. It's 1/4 inch drive. Thanks in advance.

1/4" drive flex driver.
They were made by a number of companies - Indestro made one (see photo) and Herbrand made one as well.
Great gizmo to have to adjust the idle mixture on Rochester Quadrajets and the dwell angle on 1957-1974 GM V8 engines with point-triggered ignition.
I would imagine there'd be some use for them in the current era as well.
I have a couple of the Indestro bits to fit that thing.

Yup, carb adjusting tool. I have one for the Quadrajet on my Dad's '69 Camaro SS.

Thanks guys. I appreciate it. Maybe I'll have to go on the internet and find one to purchase.

I have never seen an Indestro model listed on Ebay.
I have seen a couple Herbrands listed on Ebay.
Again, they were available from a number of different tool manufacturers (and were probably all made by the same outfit - possibly Ullman.)

The Snap-on model doesn't have the flexible "gooseneck" action at the business end - it's just a curved ridged tube with a flexible drive shaft running through it.

I have the 1/8" hex bit and the screw starter bit somewhere. Yours if you are able to find a driver and want them (provided I can find them again.)
The carburetor adjusting bit you could probably find something suitable in Duro-Chrome or New Britain in the second-hand market.

I have a Mac flex tip and a Herbrand 45 deg one in my classified post. I keep another one in my toolbox, comes in handy every now and then.
