I have been searching through ads on Craigslist for a new utility cart, and I keep seeing lots of these Blue Point carts with 4 drawers. It looks like a scaled down version of my Mac c art, which is what I am looking for. Does anyone have one of these carts? How good is it? Would you say it is on par with a Mac or Snap On cart? How well do the drawers roll? Is it sturdy enough to mount a 4 foot stepladder to and carry it well around a hospital?

I am not one to usually recommend Harbor Freight, but that looks just like the HF cart for a lot more money. I have the HF cart and it is pretty decent cart, especially for the money.

How well do the drawers work? I have a Mac utility cart and the drawers roll like butter, even the big one that is stuffed full of wrenches and ratchets/sockets. I don't want a cart where you have to shimmy the drawers open.

I have loaded the hell out of mine and the drawers are great. I don't give much praise to HF, but in this case that cart is deserving of it.

I have this same cart. I bought it used for the same price I could have bought the red HF cart. I'd say they're comparable. I went with the used blue point only cause it was blue. Not a red fan. Also, I can't compare to Snap On or Mac carts, but I can say it's not as sturdy as the Cornwell 4-drawer cart.

I would buy the one in your link. I have the HF cart as well and have always felt like it was very unstable and the castors ***** in my opinion.

Hf 4 detents wore out pretty quick & the top compartment is too shallow for many screwdrivers etc. other than that I was very happy with it. I actually preferred the size as my 5 drawer is a little overkill for my needs but I've been very happy with it. A little lithium grease on the slides does wonders. Only issue is the struts wearing out.

The hf 4 drawer served me well for years, with a sunex prybar rack on the side and a shelf. Seen every red one used professionally buckle the bottom tray where the casters attach. I would 3rd c omens reinforcement there from the start. I now have a matco 4 drawer, not the biggest fan of their drawer slides feel, like my epic drawers better. But the cart itself is great. Same as the napa one.
