Hello I've had this old Blue point wrench for a while and the actual blue point name stamp is missing. It sort of appears to be ground off but I'm unsure. So my question is has any else seen a blue point wrench missing the name stamp but still have the part numbers and sizes stamped. And to be more clear im referring to the smaller wrench with the 1956 date code. Thank you.

collectingsnapon.com is a very helpful website. the 1416 just refers to the size, 14/32 = 7/16 and 16/32 = 1/2 inch. it probably came out of the same forge, but it may have been inferior quality, thus not receiving the snappy name. back in the 90's, i had a friend that worked at western forge in colorado, collected a set of craftsman wrenches, all seconds without the actual name.....
