Hi all

I have been offered the chance to purchase two Blue Point WXD series wrenches. These were only produced in 1939 and I am looking for guidance as to what I should expect to pay for these?

Pictures? I do not know the value of those specific wrenches, but I know others would want to know the size, condition, etc.

Thanks kunkernator. I will try and get some pics uploaded. Wrenches are WXD910 and 1011 and look to be in excellent unused condition.

Thanks snapmom. I had read on the collecting snap on website that they were only manufactured in '39. Do you have an idea of value?

Maybe $30....Whitworth wrenches have limited use...for comparison, EBay has a listing for a single WXD wrench for a $5 opening bid, NR, with 0 bidders in 3 days.

FWIW, I'm not a collector per se, but I'm after a few US made BP wrenches to complete collections, and I watch BP listings daily...

Thanks for your help cookefab. Snap On attracts a premium here in the UK even older tools listed on eBay. There are some of the same wrenches currently listed on eBay for £50.00 ($75) each buy it now.
