Blue Point XD wrench

I picked up theses Snap On Blue Point XD wrenches last weekend because they reminded me of a guy i worked with in the early 70's. He would always put a 1/2-9/16 in his pocket when he opened his tool box. Does anyone have any info on them? Thanks

Can't tell for sure, maybe a 61 or 51 date code. Any closer pics?

I think I see the 1953 date code on those wrenches. Here are a couple of mine dated '53.

They have a good feel to them, i would not mind finding some of the other sizes
