Anyone considering the Blue Point sets in Canada should take a good long look at them and then take a good look at the Mastercraft sets from Canadian Tire. One of our guys at work bought the Blue Points and after looking at them I'm almost positive the Mastercraft sets are from the same factory.

The one thing everybody has failed to take into account is that the Snap On truck comes by on Friday morning every week. The Blue Point tools have a lifetime warranty. Even if and that is a big if some other tools are better or a better value can you afford to take off work and hunt down a replacement for a broken tool? Part of why snappy and blue point are higher than internet brands is the personal service. SK, Williams,Proto and others are good quality American made tools. The problem is there is no place within miles of where I live that carries these tools or if they do they are only open when I am working. So be happy with your new tools.

This model I think is being tweaked a bit when you can have the industrial supply houses deliver same day or next for next to nothing in shipping a new wrench and you can return the old one to them. It's convenient enough. And often, I've found, the prices are pretty reasonable (like Armstrong at McMaster), and certainly cheaper (by a lot :) ) than the trucks. Trucks will still have a market with those that have credit problems or who are on the fringes.
