What about that 3rd one for $300 that came with 2 boxes?

Is there anything included in the bluepoint one or is it just the box? I'd probably go for the Kennedy if only even for the contents if they are in decent shape. If the tools are junk, the bluepoint seema like a good deal

Haha I don't think she'll fall for that one.

Yeah, the blue point is just the toolbox, the Kennedy box and the tools were both in very nice condition.

  1. Trade/sell/dump "other half".
  2. Then buy both, pick the machinist tools you want/need, select the better of the boxes & sell the other box and the tools you don't want to offset - maybe completely - your outlay.

Depends, what do you NEED right now? The Kennedy may be a fantastic deal, depending on the contents. Then again, are you in need of machinist tools right now?

For a general home tool box I think the BP would be nice, much better for general storage vs the Kennedy. You will probably get 5x the amount of tools in the BP that you would the kennedy. Then again the BP is not portable, do you need a portable box right now?

The Blue Point is basically a Snap-On 26" KRA-series stack. The KRL guys won't agree (and I don't care), :p123 but the KRA boxes are very decent quality. If it's in good shape and large enough for your needs, $200 is a screaming deal for it.
