Bluebird/KayDee knockdown engine lift question

Can anyone with access to one of old knock-down 1500/1200 Bluebird/KayDee engine hoists post a length and diameter for the jack handle? I don't have access to the lift and I need to make a replacement. They need to be a certain length to fit into the spring loaded storage feature.
