bluepoint jack help

I have a 3 ton Bluepoint jack and I was cleaning it the other day and I turned it over to clean underneath and now it does not work properly. It seems to have some air in the cylinder. I pulled some of the plugs out of the top to try and bleed the system but still not working right. It will lift the car but very slowly and you have to move the handle the full motion to make it work. It use the be a quicker lifting jack and you did not have to move the handle the full motion. Here are some pictures of it with close ups. What am I doing wrong?

Well.. First off you never have to open the Valves to Bleed a Jack, Secondly.. Those Valves are Set to allow the Jack to Switch between Quick Lift and the Low End (Power). Do you remember what Valve you tinkered with? Did you Remove the Adjusting Plug completely? Did you lose any Balls/Springs etc..? Do you still have the Quick Lift feature while not under Load?

I was very careful to screw the plugs back in the same as they were before. I did not loose any springs or balls when I took them out. I only removed the three on the left looking from the handle end. It does seem to have the quick lift while not under a load.

When you say "Very Careful" Did you first check the revolution from OEM Position to Closed before you Removed them? And then put them back to the proper Setting? So your Problem is essentially while under Load? Does it feel like its Bypassing versus Lifting?

The Adjustment is the Valve all the Way to the Left (smaller one). It will take some Trial and Error to get it set back properly, Start completely Down and make small adjustments till you get a good Transfer from the Quick to the Power Side.

Well each cap was flush with the housing and when I put them back I made sure they were flush again and the screw slot was in the same direction. It did not make a difference after I did that. I don't think it is bypassing it just won't do a full lift on the down stroke. I also pulled the fill plug on the cylinder and it seems to be full of oil also.

You only experience the "Full Lift on the Down Stroke" Under load Correct? If so try adjusting only that Left Valve, Starting from either Down and working up, With all tests done under Load. The 2 middle valves are the Working Valves ( 1 for Each Pump) and they Have No Adjustment.

Hi I’m new here was after some advice I have a bluepoint snx300tj trolley jack and wanted to know where I could buy a seal kit as they are no longer available from snapon also how to remove the two piston plungers at the back
