my co work got this discontinued tool from bluepoint.. the only number i see on it is JWF2. i have talked to my snap on guy that comes every monday but he said he cant get them anymore.. i dont even know what it is called or how to even find something like it

its pretty much looks like a wrench.. one end has a 3/8 square male (for 3/8 sockets) and on the other end is 3/8 square female (for a 3/8 air ratchet) and it like 6 inches long.. the two ends is linked by a chain and when one end turns the other end does too..
hard to explain how it looks like.. i might have to take a picture

but it makes it easy to get into hard to get place under the hood
anyone know what this tool is called.. have one and know where i can get discontinued snap on/ bluepoint tools? or maybe something like it

That tool was discussed at length in a thread within the last 4-6 months; I thought it looked like a nifty device. As I recall the only place they were known to show up was e-bay and I am sorry but I do not recall the proper name for that tool. BTW, that tool reminded me of a very old ratcheting box end wrench

Ahh, the elusive chaine drive right angle extension. They are quite scarce and hard to find. I waited a long time for one. I wound up grabbing a pair off ebay, they were NOS, still with the warning labels on them (warning against impact use), and I got a 1/4" and 3/8" for around $100.

I have yet to use either, but Im sure one day they will save my ***.

Here is the old thread

Too bad,

You JUST missed one that sold today, the 8th of December. It cost $55 shipped and all.

I would really like one of those too; but I just cannot spend that kind of money as a weekend wrench these days! (Oh for those carefree spending single days again!) Oh heavens yes I am kidding! :spit:

Just go to eBay and look up the sale that was posted above. Look at the item description and title. That should give you all of the keywords you need (especially the title). When searching on eBay, be sure to check the search titles AND descriptions box.
