Anyone have experience with any of them? Seem to be a variety around 50 bucks slot cheaper than the wifi ones.

I would worry about the range of bluetooth as to if it would be useful.

I made them for my phone. I think they work great.

Very little difference in distance between it and the original remote, which still work in conjunction with the blue tooth openers.

I love being able to open any of my 4 over head doors with my phone.

I use the app GarageMate. Here is what it looks like when I open up the app on my phone.

Not a bluetooth answer, but I run the MyQ with the LiftMaster. Had to buy new wall buttons to get it to work but I love it. The garage outdoor lights run off of it as well. It's nice because you can check/run it with your phone from anywhere.

what i basically want is a secure remote. I was thinking about getting a wireless keypad and putting that in the car but was unsure if it was built to code cycle like normal openers.

( wife only parks inside in bad weather and generally we do not lock vehicles, so I would like a coded remote for security)

Ive got the my q garage setup. Great for knowing if you closed the garage door on your way to work. Shows you when it opens and closes. Also good in my case when im working evenings as the wife drives to work out of town on the highways and it lets me know she's home safe n sound

Not Bluetooth, but I've hooked 12V relays to the garage button terminals in my GDOs that I can remotely trigger from my phone, via our alarm panel. I giggled like a schoolgirl the first time I opened our garage from an airplane with wifi to let someone in...

I use Garage Door Buddy from a droid cell phone or my wife's iPhone. Works well over the WiFi. To get it to work over the internet you'll have to setup port forwarding & dynamic DNS on your home router. Then you can open, close or check it from anywhere you have cell service.
