I have four Blum 170 degree clip mount hinges that don't adjust. It appears the collar that moves the hinge left- right is out of position or perhaps the thread is the inner rail is stripped out. I cannot get the collar back in position. Anybody know these hinges well enough to guide me?1000006675.jpg

Should have searched the web before posting this thread. I found a view of a Blum 170 clip hinge and that adjustment collr is indeed engage into the slot. But on my four 170 hinges the collar is not engaged into that slot but I have not found a way to get the collar properly set into the slot. Might have to order new hinges.

I can’t tell from the picture how it’s supposed to work. Call Blum, they have good product tech support.

I have removed those, dutchman plugged the pocket hole and put regular hinges in and I believe they were having the same issues.

I bought another four Blum 170 clip mount hinges, and with no other changes to the mounts or doors, I was able to adjust the doors. Got the corner/angled doors aligned and gaps set. But then I had to adjust seven doors to the left to get everything aligned and plumb. These adjustable hinges are great. But moving one set of doors a 1/4" up/down, left/right, affects all the doors. Patience is a virtue with this for sure.

Once they they get adjusted too far (and back out of the threading) they are effectively broken and need replaced.
