Greetings! I'm still in the process of finishing up my shop - just got the workbench built: 10'long x 36" deep and about 36" tall. All reclaimed lumber except the OSB for shelves. Top is 2x12, legs 2x6. I'm guessing weight to be roughly 180lbs or so (I can lift one end but it is difficult to move without help!).

I'm a BMW motorcycle enthusiast, too! This thing is a crotch rocket in touring clothing. Excellent canyon bike, adjustable ride to compensate for different loads i.e. passenger, stiffness, etc. 3 different engine control module settings (you don't want full power to be available if the road is wet!). 160 HP, 129 ft lbs torque.

Nearly done - insulated and sheeted old section of shop which we attached to the new building: used to be a feeding shed for my horses. I should have demolished it and added another 12" bay....

Didn't get much done in the shop today: started up my various vehicle engines and warmed them up: 2004 Dodge diesel 1T, 1975 Ford Diesel tractor, 2014 BMW and 2009 Yamaha bikes. I also converted the free-standing gas heater to propane, which was a pain - essentially had to dismantle most of it to get to the burner...

Next: install the stove (you can barely see it in the background) - it will live against the back wall. I will hang some plastic curtains across the small part of the shop to help keep it clean and also warm.... I'll probably get it done when the weather warms up!

Your bench looks strong. And a large space to work on projects too.
My dad once said "BMW motorcycles are like Barbra Streisand. They may not look that great, but they sure can sing."

You're right about Streisand and BMW!

Been working on my 1990 Buick hearse: it sprung a coolant leak so large I figured it had to be the water pump.

It wasn't. I have never seen an intake leak that bad! But now it has a new water pump and fuel pump, and soon to have a new valley gasket, too.....
