Boar Hair Brush

Looking to purchase a boar wash brush for car washing . Saw one at the dealer over the week and was impressed. Looking at Universal Brush Mfg and Montana brands.

I have this boars hair brush from Adam's. Its perfect for wheels and under the hood, its also made in the USA. They also have this lug nut brush.

Nice choice. I had a boar hair brush for over 30 years and still use it regularly. Doesn't scratch and holds the soap very well.

Griots Garage has a couple. Never had a bad experience with their stuff.

Heard good things about Montana. Phil has some over at Detailer's Domain and I trust his stuff. Whatever you get, be sure to do the CD test before you touch your car with it.

Caveat: I don't use one personally.

just remember to use it correctly. just the tips of the bristles, once you start bending the bristles to the side you're putting too much pressure

every time i see people mashing their brush into their paint, i cringe, because i know all the junk that just got moved off the surface, is now being used to scratch it.
