Dream garage:
Currently I do not have one, and the space to build one in my back yard is limited. What I would like to do is build one that is about 10 feet wide by about 18 feet long and maybe 10 feet deep. UNDERGROUND - Basically a big concrete box. I would like the roof to look like a deck, but I would like the roof to be able to LIFT UP. I'm thinking of putting it on some 8 foot tall poles and hooking up a hydraulic system or an electric motor. instead of having a ramp that goes down into it, the first five feet would be a lift. this would act as an elevator and would need to be strong enough to support myself and a motorcycle. I would also like the roof system to be strong enough to support me without any wobbling and have different heights that it can be adjusted to and lock into place. I'd also like to have some screens made up that snap into place when the roof is up to keep out bugs and what not. Think of one of those hard shelled pop trailers.
NOW any ideas on how to build it? I'm sure I'd need a back hoe, concrete blocks, some water proofing materials, etc.
