Hello,

I am new to the forum. I have been lurking for years. I live in NE Florida. I am interested in tools, cars, ski boats, motorcycles, trucks, 4x4's, SUVs, small engines and pretty much anything mechanical. I have a 28X41ft garage/shop where I spend my free time fixing things and maintaining my inventory of necessities and toys.

Welcome boatmechanic!
Lots of good folks on here with lots of good advice and bad ideas.

I consider myself a reformed boater, 40 years of boat ownership, the last 22 years ranging from 34' to 40'.

Boat free since 2017!
Don't know what to do with all the free time and extra money now!

I had my first boat at 14 yrs old a sailing dinghy. Next a 36ft Ketch that I lived aboard for 5 1/2 years. After that I decided I would not ever have a boat that could not fit in the garage. I met my now wife (a diehard water skiier) she had a Sea Ray sport jet 120. She out grew that and got a 19ft Mastercraft. She out grew that and got a 21 ft Mastercraft. True to my mantra we keep the 19 and 21 footers in the garage (I guess it is really a boathouse:) and I do more boating now then when I lived aboard. Since the the boats are "hers" I have one job ... keep them running. Good to hear from another boater even if you have graduated to reformed.
