I have a Bodine Electric fractional horsepower gearmotor 115VAC 1/15HP. The other motors I have wired has 2 black wires and 2 blue wires.
I came across one that has 2 black wires and 2 Green wires. I am wondering if you would connect it the same way as the ones with the blue wires?
I have been on the Bodine website and they don't show anything with green wires. Im guessing they ran out of blue wire the day they was assembling this. haha!!
Thanks for any help.

My guess is the green" wires were blue at one time! Green wire in the US is generally reserved for ground wires. I have a small motor on a gear pump with wires that changed color significantly, it took a while to figure out the original colors studying the mfg web site.

Thanks Steve, Its a used motor I was thinking someone cut off the old wires and replaced them. They are very green wires that goes to the windings and looks factory. The "blue" wires connect to the capacitor. I'm going to try the green ones and see what happens. Thanks for your help.
