body clip pliers

You may notice my ignorance in this post as I don't know what they are called. I am looking for a set of pliers that will remove the plastic automotive body clips.

I am most interested in being able to remove the "push pin" style that I think needs a special set of pliers to be removed so they can be reused or at least removed easily.

I see blue point make some, cal-van, and gear-wrench does anyone have any thoughts or recommendations on what to get?

I got the body clip set as well from sk... I hope it is nice.

Are you talking about the kit with the adjustable head trim clip pry bar? I got it when it first came out a couple of years ago. it's pretty sweet for wheel well splashshield fasteners. I also like the SK push thru trim tool. it looks like a green screwdriver handle with a pin on one end and a small pry bar on the other end. great for those push pin type fasteners found on so many late model Asian cars.

They're just push pin pliers. You can get them from KD, GearWrench, Lisle, VIM, and others.

Harbor freight has them as well. They're incredibly basic and I see zero difference between theirs and even snap ons. They look identical, I wouldn't doubt if they're made in the same factory.
