:dunno:IMG_0373.jpgI was searching tool names of the 35 years I have spent as an auto tech and tools I acquired and I came across this sliding T handle with BOG MFG Co Chicago. I looked up the name read about the history and found the same one only mine is 3/8 and the listed one was 1/2 same design. The one I have is in perfect condition, Now that I have gone through the steps what should I value this tool for? http://home.comcast.net/~alloy-artifacts/bog-mfg-chicago.html

its real value is in using it. If you are only in it for the money, put it on ebay and the market will decide what its worth (hint: its not much)

I don't think using it will help it's value I would rather leave it untouched. This one like the one documented is missing the thumb screw (why?). I have many tools to use but I am getting older hence I have been putting a value to everything I own to leave to my sons.

I'd say it is worth about what a new one would be, like say a modern Craftsman for comparison. Maybe $10? I've picked up other Chicago made tools, like an Indestro similar T bar for less than $10 in good shape. If you put on ebay and found someone else who is into Bog, might go higher. But few have ever heard of Bog I think! - Paul
