I've got one made in the late '50's. This is a saw I inherited. Recently while digging through things I came upon two support shafts that appear to be painted the same factory color as the saw. The top portion is solid threaded steel that screws into an internally threaded pipe. And the bases are made where they can bolted down.
Did Boice Crane sell supports for maybe an outfeed table or for some other purpose? I'll try to get some pics posted.
