Looking for boiler size help for my radiant floor heat. I have a 35x36 attached garage 11' ceilings in it. The garage is 2x6 framing and I have R19 batts stapled into the walls with 1/2" drywall. The foundation is also insulated with 2" styrofoam as well as the slab. R50 attic insulation

I also have floor heat installed in my basement of my house. The basement is just about 2200 sq ft. This will be framed 2x4 walls with R15 batts on the inside of the concrete walls. There is roughly 18" of exposed concrete above the dirt level.

I live in northern Iowa so we have pretty rough winters.

I guess my question is can I have one heat source to run both of these areas and just set them up as two zones or am I better off running each one on there own system? And how big and what kind of recommendation on a heat source?

Thanks in advance!

what is the size of the boiler in house now? think it would need to be at least 120k output....for that sq. footage but i am no radiant expert...temps are kept lower in these systems...work with a good supply house in your area if possible.
