boiler modification?

There is a local guy here who has a Lion boiler complete with all the parts to put a system together, hes got the pump, expansion tank etc and its dirt cheap.My cousin needs a system for his garage and he wants to get it in for next winter the only problem is the Lion boiler is a 25kw model and he only needs maybe a 10 kw.This unit has 5,5kw elements in it.Can he just unplug 3 of the elements?Will that work out ok or not?I dont know what kind of circuitry is in the units or if this will affect the "brain" of the unit?

I would call the manufacturer. They may have another way to de-rate it or can at least tell you if just unplugging one one the elements is a good idea or not.

dont know mutch about that make of boiler but i` running a 25kw furnace in mine and i just disconnected 3 coils
