This is really a pretty simple tip--and pretty cheap too!
I noticed these nice, plastic, hinged-lid boxes at my local Wal-Mart recently. Since I have hundreds of bolts stored in cigar boxes that I have collected over the years, I noticed that some of the cigar boxes are getting pretty flimsy from the weight of the bolts.
These are marketed as pencil boxes and work real well to store my bolts and nuts. They have small "feet" on the bottom to allow them to stack straight and not fall of the shelf into your face!
Best of all--they're only 97 cents a piece. I bought 30! I hope this might help someone...
