Bolting Down 4-Post Lift

I am interested in bolting down my Atlas 8000 EXT 4-Post Lift. Over time, my lift has moved a few inches and tends to have a slight wobble when my car is on the lift. I am interested in using drop-in anchors. Can others please let me know which drop-in anchor, bolt, washer, and drill size used to bolt your lift down?

Also, I plan on buying and cutting a horse stall mat from Tractor Supply to place under the post feet as well to eliminate any water from touching the feet and causing rust.

TIA

I used Red Head 1/2" drop-in's on mine. They've worked great, and they don't impede anything if you want to move the lift, as they sit just below flush with the top of the pad.

This is perfect! Did you use a washer as well with the bolt?

I scrapped the horse stall mat. The mat was 3/4” high and did feel too spongy. Just going to bolt to concrete and caulk around the bottom of the feet to keep water away

All bolted down! 1/2” x 2” Drop-in anchors worked perfectly. I used a 1/2” x 1.5” hex bolt, 1/2” split washer, 1/2” washer, and 5/8” drill bit. Some sweat, a hammer drill, compressed air to blow out dust, and rubber mallet to line the holes up did the trick.

Also, at the last minute, I decided to caulk around the post feet in the event of water run off from rain or snow (not pictured).

Mine has similar drop in anchors, but 4" long if memory serves. We tighten the bolts only finger tight so the posts can expand/contract a bit when used, but still be secured in place in the event of an earthquake,

Which lifts did you guys go with? I have a 13' ceiling. Looking to store a corvette C7 Grand Sport and a 1999 E55 AMG.

My lift is eleven years old and not bolted down. Move it a couple of feet a year ago and no rust on bottom, looked like new. My installer brought black foot square mats he picks up at HF to put under the legs. Mine gets used weekly and has never moved.

I have an Atlas 8000 EXT. My ceiling is 12’. Had my C8 Z06 stored on there, as well as many other vettes/cars, with no issues.

Forward EFP9 / Direct Lift Pro Park 9 Plus (same lift) here with 12'7" ceiling height. Bought it in '20, and it's been excellent.

I'm thinking of using these to bolt down my tire changer. I'm also thinking up upsizing and using the same ones the Max-Jacks use. Are the Red Heads going to withstand the torque of a tire changer? Thoughts?

The 1/2" Red Heads should be plenty capable of resisting the torque applied to a manual tire changer.
