Bondhus Torx Screwdrivers

Does anybody have firsthand experience with Bondhus Torx Screwdrivers? I am concerned about the standard tip (non-ball end) being too long for common auto use, based on some amazon comments.

Additionally, does anybody have any comments on the long term reliability? They make top notch hex products, so I expect their torx to be quality as well. I don't know if Snap-On is 7X the quality of the Bondhus, and I am concerned about getting the German brands warrantied.

Thanks

Buy the Felo torx screwdrivers... Bondhus is the distributor, warranty shouldn't be an issue.

You shouldn't have an issue with Wiha or Wera either. I'd probably go with the Wiha or Felo though since I've never used the Wera drivers.

They have an excellent soft grip handle. Wish Bondhus made straight slot and Phillips screwdrivers with that handle.

My Bondhus are made in the USA. I didn't realize they were a German brand as well. Cool.
If I'm not mistaken, Bondhus is all US made but they are the US distributor for Felo which is German.

OP is spot on - Bondhus hex stuff is great quality, I would expect nothing less from their other stuff. Keep in mind, Bondhus does have a satisfaction warranty if you don't like them you can return them.

bondhus are just as tough as the good german brands. bondhus are all i use at work, their gorilla line is one tough *** hex key set. i doubt their screwdrivers would be any different.

The Bondhus product range of hex and torx is well represented in my tool arsenal. I have no complaints and the warranty can't be beat. You break or wear something out, simply mail it in and they send you a new one, no questions asked.

As mentioned, Bondhus is the US dristributor for Felo. I sent in a tamper resistant torx screwdriver for replacement and a new one was sent no questions asked.

On a side note US distribution of Wiha is in the same town in MN as Bondhus. Makes me wonder sometimes if there is not some sort of connection. I've sent worn out Wiha screwdrivers back to Wiha before, and they sent replacements back without hassle.

I use Bondhus stuff for my T-handles and traditional keys in Hex/Ball Hex/Torx needs and have zero complaints, they are great tools.

For my regular "screwdriver handled" ball/hex/Torx drivers I'm using Snap-On, and will be giving them away and picking up new Bondhus ones.
