A while ago (OK a long time ago) I bought a used SK 3/8 drive socket set at an auction, in the set it had a Bonney 5/16" drive socket set, plus a couple of sets of ignition spanners.

This is the only 5/16" drive socket set I've ever come across, I would love to find a ratchet for the set as it only had a short extension and a T bar.

Has anyone come across a Bonney 5/16" socket set, is Bonney still in production??..........Kiwi

Yeah I thought it might be rather old, the extension is almost 4 1/2" long and has "M4" marked on it along with Bonney Made in USA, the sockets go from 1/4" - 7/16" with a 1/4" & 5/16" 8 point sockets.
Some of the sockets have still have traces of the orange label, and all parts have a "M" followed by a number and the 8 point sockets having MS followed by a number.
The square drive measures 0.283" so yes 9/32" drive not 5/16 as I first thought.

Any idea what age this set would be??

It's in the link I posted. Pre 1930 or so. Scan eBoy for Bonney or vintage Snap-On and eventually something else 9/32 will show up. Very unique items to own.
