Bonney would have to be considered a high-end tool and seem to have been almost universally well-regarded.

Even after the amalgamation of Utica, Herbrand & Bonney, it was the Bonney brand that was positioned as the "premium" line...

I once inquired about some John Deere wrenches (I let them get away!!) that I had seen and I was told that Bonney made them. These were really really nice wrenches that were made in the USA, and in my opinion, were as nice as any truck brand.

I have several Bonney and GRAY-Bonney wrenches and they are very high quality. I would equate them with any of the premium brands as far as quality and performance is concerned.

Thats interesting about the Bonney/Matco connection because I thought that this wrench has a similar shape to Bonney!

They do feel good; definitely a unique design! This is a brand new one I have never used; it is a orphan that has been "hibernating" in my box for years! :)
If my memory serves, this is a circa 1980s or early to mid 1990s model.
