I picked up a book off of Amazon called "Advanced Automotive Welding" by Gerald Uttrachi. It was decent read but pretty much told me everything I already knew and I was done reading it within an hour.
I wish there was a home shop welding publication... The Practical Welding publication is more for business and industry. Hobart has a decent quarterly magazine for their school with decent stories. I used to subscribe to the home shop machinist and the machinist workshop.
I'm also a life member with the Handyman Clubs of America. It's a good magazine but I hate woodworking and that's most of the projects in it. I always preferred Metal. What does everyone else like to read?
