Books on garage construction and maintenance?

I still have quite a bit of work to do on my detached uninsulated 24x40 garage. Add insulation, ceiling, finish the walls, fix garage door springs, figure out better lighting, etc. Maybe some other projects if I feel up to it, like adding some windows or another entry door.

Looking for any ideas on garage construction and upgrade books. My garage is already built... but a construction book would be nice, as I'm pretty new to these things and could still learn a lot about my garage, as well as help me see any problems that I may not be seeing now!

The forum has been very informative but having a how-to book with picture would really help me out too. I got the Readers Digest Complete Do-It-Yourself Manual (as well as Black and Decker's version) which has been really helpful around the house. Looking for something similar for garages. To be honest there is a lot of construction vocabulary that I'm not familiar with (yet) so a book tailored to a professional probably wouldn't be good for me :)

Black & Decker - Complete Guide To Garages looks promising. Any thoughts, or other suggestions?

The garage books I have seen in the book sections at the big box stores all seem to focus on shelves and storage ideas. Everything else is basic construction/electrical/plumbing, so the general books are better for that stuff.

This is probably one of the best comprehensive books on the market (I own all three editions).

It's good full spectrum knowledge for building. Although it's not specifically geared toward garages. Like Steevo said, most garage specific books are more about storage/organization.
You can probably pick up more ideas that you can incorporate by looking at all the pictures in the gallery section than any book.
