After the kids went to bed I was able to get the table saw shimmed up and the workbench extended to become the new out feed table.

Over on the ”Let’s BBQ” thread we call Lite Beer lawnmower water, cuz it’s what ya drink while mowing. Yours we‘ll call Hay Water, as in “Hay, can ya grab me another water?”! A good helper will know what ya mean!

Today after my wife got done working I was able to get the rest of the first turnout chopped down.

In better/best news we signed closing docs on the AZ house first thing this morning! Just waiting on the wire and we are done! Big relief there, and lots of bills I can cancel. Mortgage, pool care, electric, taxes (6k+), insurance, shared well costs, internet so I didn't loose my smart features, etc etc.
That's a heck of a crew at the birthday bash! They all relatively local or is this an annual shindig that people plan a trip back for?
And congrats on closing! Great mental feeling to be rid of those worries and headaches, especially when distant. The wire hitting the bank doesn't **** either!
With all this progress on the pens...I'm suspecting that some 4 legged animals show up soon.....or maybe that arrival is already on the calendar?

It's a combo July birthday bash (since we have so many July birthdays in the family) as well as a end of summer back to school kind of party. It's "open" to the community and lots of locals families/friends show up.
Thank you, yes it's a relief not worrying about what could happen as it sits vacant even though I've got several eyes on it.
No not quite yet. I'm cleaning just for the sake of cleaning. It was looking a little ragged out back
. I do have a line on some calves from a friend of my cousin, that's a possibility.

Looks like the link is referring to the Bridgestone Alenza tires. I have not used those but a few months ago I had Costco put a set of Michelin Defender LTXs on the wife's Explorer and so far those have been great. Very quiet and smoothed out the ride a lot, handle the corners well. Haven't been able to test them out in a heavy rain cause we are still in a damn drought.
The wife’s ride is getting defenders today, it’s good to hear an opinion other then looking at yellow stars.
I checked out the reviews on the Bridgestones and felt the Michelins were a better choice. Time will tell.

I highly recommend the Michelin Defender LTX's. Wife's Durango has them. They are great all year round and seem to wear like iron. She has roughly 30k on hers and they look like and act new still.

I got a auto vacuum switch for the miter stations. Now when I use the miter saws the vacuum automatically kicks on and has a delay on shut down to clean out the line. Pretty neat and works really good.

Without climbing up on the roof, anybody know what these are? There are in a pole above the roof and are plugged into each other and then one single cord runs into the attic. They are pointed towards the back yard.
I'm trying to figure out how to extend the Internet signal out to the shop is the only reason I started looking at these. Repeaters? Weather station junk?

Look like Ubiquiti nanostation outdoor access points, so likely what you need as long as you can get ethernet to wherever that cable coming down is. Pictures look like an M5 which doesn't appear to be a current model but you should be able to find documentation for
You'll need a Power over Ethernet (POE) capable switch or injector to get them power....it uses that CAT5 ethernet cable on the right side of the lower one for power....then the top one is powered off the left one cable that comes off the lower one.
Ubiquiti equipment is solid gear, but isn't mass market residential target so bit more complicated then "plug and play" but should be hands off once it's setup. In order to get it setup for what you need....I'm guessing they're going to need to come off the pole so you can do hard resets and get them setup etc
It's kinda odd that they're both covering the same area...unless wind has blown them around a bit

+1 on them being Ubiquiti.
I used that for a short time between my house and shop, when it worked, it worked great. My local CO-OP telecommunications company is 3mi away in our small town. They trenched a hardline from my house to the shop and just charged me mileage for the job...didn't even have to pay for materials. Might look into that...

Definitely Ubiquiti Nanostations, could be the M2 (2.4ghz) or the M5(5ghz)

I have setup a bunch of these, and the newer versions at work. They work quite well to do a wireless bridge to another building.

I'm gonna crawl up in the attic and see what up there as far as wiring, possible switches etc. maybe they left it all up there.
If it's a normal switch it won't look any different, if it's a POE Injector only it could be as small as a pack of cigarettes with 2 ethernet cables (in and out) and a spot for power likely via your typical wall adapter with a round plug into the injector

Ok so here is the rats nest we are working with.
This is what all is exterior.
In the attic we have the following.
The black cable that out of the Ubiquiti stuff just says "vertical wire" on it and runs over and then through a top plate hole down into the wall. Now to find the other end.......

I also don't have "TV" service so I'm thinking about ripping all this satellite/cable stuff out, it's just a giant rats nest.

Do you have a layout or overview of what you want to cover? The two antennas pointing the same direction is odd(they cover about a 120* horizontal swath). So either one has been moved by wind or something, or they were being used as a redirect(incoming on one, outgoing on the other to cover a location not visible to the originating location). As long as you can trace the cabling, and it works for your plans, you can try re-using those, or buy the newer replacements and start fresh with known good gear.
