Best of luck for a safe and joyous experience! May the hospital food be tolerable, the coffee not Starbucks and the wifi fast...oh yeah and the medical team top notch since that is why you're there!

Hospital, what's this thing you speak of?? I've had the pot on since 1am, first ones already gone, about to brew another pot of Black Rifle! We are comfy, safe and have fast wifi right at home haha. We use a midwife, no hospital for us 🥳

We got us a baby girl gents! Almost 9lbs we are thinking 🤔

Damn! Congrats to both you and the misses and the hopefully happy and excited siblings and other family members! Glad everything worked out so well and fast! Less experienced in this area then you and both of ours had complications so had forgotten that not all have to be in the hospital!

Thanks man!!

Our first (oldest) we had some complications so we ended up in the hospital. Next 3 all at home, I know it's not everyone's cup of tea or at all even possible in certain scenarios, but I am sure glad God blessed us with 4 healthy kids and momma and the opportunity to be able to experience 3 of them at home.

Congratulations!! She's beautiful of course, and I like the homage to the grandmother. I admire that you and your wife chose home birth. It makes sense intuitively, I've always cringed at bringing a fragile life into the world at the hospital where so many lives are lost due to illness. For better or for worse though, we will continue in hospital births as our oldest gave us quite a scare when he was delivered in the hospital, and it's likely he wouldn't have made it if it weren't for the heroic NICU staff that sprung into action within seconds and saved his life. Once again, congratulations!

Thank you sir! That is amazing and a blessing that you were right where you needed to be and had the right hands available to save your little one. Amazing!

Our oldest we totally "winged it" on her name haha. Our second is named after my wife's grandma. Our third is named after his great Grandpa (my grandpa) and this little gal is after my mom.

Beautiful little baby girl, congrats to you and your wife!

Jay

We got the newest little Gal dedicated at church this morning. She was the youngest baby they have ever dedicated at 4 days old 😁. I know I know, politics and religion are not good dinner table talk but if you have something against it just skip to the next post, and we can continue to be friends lol. I don't mention it often to try and respect others beliefs and or disbeliefs. But this is a part of who we are so can't always hide it. Our church does baby dedication which is more for the parents and members than the baby. It's just a way that we publicly stand in front of our peers and acknowledge and commit that we will raise our kids to grow with God to the best of our abilities and that our church family will help us do the same. The kids will then get baptized when they can understand and make that decision on their own so that it is meaningful, not forced. Any ways........all the little tikes ready to dedicate their new baby sister!

It was a fun morning because my brother just had a baby as well, so the little cousins got to be dedicated together! It was a proud day for Nana and Pops (Grandma and Grandpa). Great grandma even came up to support.

I've almost got the garage "computer" online. Monitor is the old 65" TV from the house. Running a TPlink AC1750 for bringing in the internet (I have conduit buried and will switch to Ethernet later). And got a Kamrui? Mini PC. I got this one for like 125 bucks on Cyber Monday. I just have a wireless mouse and keyboard for pecking around on it.

Mini PC Windows 11 Pro, 8GB DDR4 128GB SSD Intel Celeron J4125 Mini Desktop Computer, Support 2.5-inch SSD, 2.4G+5.0G WiFi, 4K HDMI x2, Gigabit Ethernet, BT 4.2, Support Windows 10 Pro Micro PC https://www.amazon.com/dp/B099N5CY65/?tag=atomicindus08-20

The other little white box is my Honeywell Redlink. It links my Shop thermostat to the Honeywell app so I can adjust and set remotely. I had the wifi thermostat but it was not compatible with the averaging sensors, so had to switch to the Redlink set up and use their proprietary connectivity box 🙄. I have a little sensor in the garage on the opposite end as the thermostat and the system runs off of the average rather than based on the thermostat location solely along. The thermostat is in the back of the shop so the back was getting freezing while the front by the overhead and man door etc was staying warm so had to figure out a way to average the system. You can see the temperature sensor there by the garage door button.
