boracare?

Anyone have direct experience with boracare? I've got post beetles in my barn I'm remodeling and I need to treat it before really getting down to redoing the inside. From the research I've done, it appears the boracare product is one of the better options on treating existing infestations and preventing further problems. I have seen some of the studies on it showing that it appears to work at least for 5 years, but just wanted to know if anyone had personal experience with it and the amount of time they've used it. Any help's appreciated.

I never heard of it.
But from the name I would guess that it is borax.
You can buy it in bulk pretty cheap.

I had a stubborn case of carpenter ants at a previous houe. It fixed those. I owned it for 4-5 years after the treatment and did not have problem.

I have some borax powder I bought from a pest supply. Works good AFIK, but I have to dissolve it, yadda yadda. I'd probably buy the premix.

I use powered borax in my woodworking shop to keep the bugs out. Works well, I know it's not exactly what you're asking about but it does give an idea of the effectiveness of borax...
