In my experience it's hard to know exactly which batteries come with the tool. The user manual online at that line for the saw, for instance, says 'BAT411, BAT412, BAT413'. How do you know it comes with an HC battery? As I recall, they never state the exactly battery model on the outside of the box.

Cool! Thanks for the heads-up! In that case, wish they came with 2 batteries, I think it's kinda odd that the saw doesn't since those types of tools tend to eat batteries. Could be time to wait for a Bosch free battery promotion ..

Yeah, think it is a lowes package saw. The normal kit number is ps60-2a, and it comes with 2 batteries.

I think they're seeing competition from Milwaukee, who has a 2-tool combo with an impactor and drill (which alone from Bosch was regularly around $130-140) for $99 now.

Bosch and Milwaukee compete all the time with each other, both on features/power and price. We are the winners in that.

Where does anyone see the Milwaukee M12 combo kit for $99? Lowest I can find on the net is about $160.

FYI to others that might pick up the Bosch 12V saw kit. I got it today, and it is apparently a Lowe's specific set that only has 1 HC battery. The other kits out there has 2. I dont need that many batteries...so i'll probably keep the set anyways.

Maybe I am missing something?
$149 is a hot deal on these? I have seen the combo kits for around $200
