I don't know what qualifies as a hot deal but I can't find a better deal than this:

I went through the checkout process and ordered a pair. The total was around $111.00 and I already got my 11% rebate coupon through email which will bring the price down to around fifty bucks apiece.

I've always used the knockoffs, (except if I buy a kit instead of the bare tool). I can get 4 Makita-esque Li-Ion batteries in 4.0Ah for about $60 off ebay. I'm sure I'll get burned eventually, but I haven't yet. For 1/4 the price, if the batteries don't run the tool quite as long, that's ok because the other three are charged up and ready to go.

Another thing I've been doing is getting adapter plates to run Makita batteries on other 18V tool brands.

I like the Rigid air inflator tool; One of the only cons is how loud the damn thing is.....but you never forget to use earmuffs.
