Looking at adding a cordless sawzall to the collection. I already have a corded one but dragging a generator around *****.

Have bosch tools now, and with a dozen batteries of both 18v and 12v and a couple of 36v I don't plan on changing.

Found 2 options:

18V - http://www.boschtools.com/Products/Tools/Pages/BoschProductDetail.aspx?pid=CRS180K

36V - http://www.boschtools.com/Products/Tools/Pages/BoschProductDetail.aspx?pid=1651B

The 36v should be more powerful, my 36v hammerdrill is a beast. However it does mean hauling another charger and I will only have 2 batteries.

The 18v I have a bunch of batteries and chargers everywhere but most of my batteries are the slimpacks. Not sure how long it lasts with those.

Price for the bare 36v or 18v kit is about the same on amazon. Anyone used either or both and have any comments?

I have the 18v version and it's awesome. I only use the 4ah batteries though because I don't want to make a trip back to the shop from my little orchard.
I use it on my fruit trees and honestly the 12v would have been a better match for this job because it's easier to get in between all the branches.
The 18v has tons of power and works very well, I can easily recommend it.
