For less than forty dollars more than the bare tool you get a 4.0 ah battery and a charger. They aren't on the tool display area in my store. They were on a clearance rack elsewhere with a bunch of other clearance items.
This circular saw was on sale for $99 a couple weeks ago at Lowes and came with a "free" 4.0Ah battery/charger kit. Unfortunately that sale ended but I would count on it going back to that price sometime soon.
